A growing mortgage lending company plans to move its North Texas headquarters to McKinney’s Craig Ranch after finalizing its real estate deal for about 25,000 square feet.
Richardson-based Service First Mortgage has signed a deal for 25,000 square feet of office space at McKinney Corporate Center I at 6800 Weiskopf Ave. in McKinney. The deal relocates the firm’s headquarters to McKinney.
“We’re excited about our new location and how it strategically positions us for the next several years,” said CEO Shawn Broussard, in a statement. “Moving to this new location will help us to grow and expand the company’s unique culture and brand as we move forward.”
Broussard said the prime location of Craig Ranch helped solidify the deal. Craig Ranch is a 2,200-acre master-planned community between the Dallas North Tollway and U.S. 75 north of the Sam Rayburn Tollway in McKinney.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Craig Wilson, Dan Harris and Randy Cooper represented the mortgage lender in the deal.
This deal was all about the growth of the company, said Harris, a managing director at Cushman & Wakefield.
“We are so pleased to have had the opportunity to represent this burgeoning company as it relocates to an evolving community in vibrant, growing market,” he said.
The details of the company’s growth with this new office were not immediately known Thursday.
Service First Mortgage joins other corporate tenants at Craig Ranch, which include Senior Select Home Care, Regus and Accent Care. VanTrust Real Estate completed the office building in 2014.
